Scotia buys affiliate

The private company has spent $1.4 million on exploration in the province. The most advanced project is in the Lower Seal Harbour area near Goldboro. The property hosts geological reserves of 272,608 tons grading 0.12 oz gold per ton. Lotus Resources (ASE) is the joint venture partner on the project.

In Cape Breton, the company has defined a nickel-silver geochemical anomaly 12 km east of Cheticamp. This project, and others, will be drill tested upon the completion of financing, Scotia Prime says.
