Scintilore appealing payment order

The Superior Court in Quebec (Montreal district) has ordered Scintilore Explorations (TSE) and President T.H. Polisuk to pay almost $1.5 million plus interest to Union Miniere.

The action, commenced in 1989, alleged that Scintilore and Polisuk failed to deliver a certificate for 230,769 common shares of Scintilore, which prevented Union Miniere from disposing of such shares.

Scintilore will appeal the judgment, which also ordered Union Miniere to transfer the 230,769 shares to Scintilore upon payment of the above sum.
