Kodiak Copper (TSXV: KDK; US-OTC: KDKCF) plans a stepped-up drill campaign at its MPD copper-gold project near Princeton, B.C., after releasing an initial resource estimate in December that CEO Claudia Tornquist said put hard numbers around the project’s scale.
MPD is a district-scale porphyry system and the resource spans seven deposits, all of which remain open, leaving “lots of room to grow,” Tornquist said. Kodiak expects to announce details of its 2026 drill program later this quarter, with most metres aimed at expanding the resource, alongside holes to test targets beyond the known deposits.
“It’ll certainly be a big program focused on expanding the resource, but there will also be a component drilling additional targets,” Tornquist told The Northern Miner’s Western Editor, Henry Lazenby, during a recent industry event.
