CDN-listed Romfield Building has opted to acquire four claims in Tudor Twp., 90 km northeast of Peterborough, Ont.
The company has staked an additional 22 claims adjacent to those optioned. Romfield will carry out stripping and rock sampling in an area with known gold mineralization. Thirty trenches will be carried out at 50-metre intervals along a 1.7-km-long formation that has yielded values from chip samples as high as 2.25 grams gold per tonne.
