Romarco picks up ground in Nevada

Romarco Minerals (ROM-T) has become the largest landholder in Nevada’s Goldfield district, near the California border, after closing a deal with privately held Nevada Gold & Casino.

Romarco now controls 13,600 acres in the region, which has been producing gold since the turn of the century. The company is currently conducting geologic mapping and geochemical sampling throughout the area. At the company’s Midas project, in Elko Cty., negotiations with several companies are under way for the purpose of returning the property to production.
