Romarco Minerals (R-T) is reporting more high-grade gold intersections from its Belnap claims at the Midas project in Nevada’s Carlin trend.
Recent infill drilling along the Gold Crown vein produced the following results: 4 ft. (from 972 to 976 ft.) grading 2.41 oz. gold and 7.9 oz. silver per ton in hole 60; 20.7 ft. (from 569.5 to 590.2 ft.) of 0.22 oz. gold and 3.3 oz. silver in hole 67; 15 ft. (from 435 to 450 ft.) of 4.05 oz. gold and 44.47 oz. silver in hole 68; and 16.5 ft. (from 538.5 to 555 ft.) of 0.24 oz.
gold and 5.55 oz. silver in hole 69.
The vein has yet to be tested for another 200 ft. to the northwest and a further 150 ft. to the southeast.
Drilling will continue at Belnap until the end of November.
Elsewhere in the Midas district, assays are pending from a 10-hole, 7,660-ft.
drill program at the Snowstorm property, which is 60%-owned by operator Romarco and 40%-owned by Crown Resources (CRO-T).
Also, drilling is under way at Romarco’s Gance Creek property in the Independence Range of northern Nevada.
In other news, the company has dropped its Grey Eagle, Clipper and Cimmaron exploration properties.
