The University of Texas, in Austin, will be the site of the first North American Rock Mechanics Symposium on June 1-3, 1994.
This symposium, a regional meeting of the International Society for Rock Mechanics, is sponsored by the U.S. National Committee on Rock Mechanics, the Canadian Rock Mechanics Association and the Sociedad Mexicana de Mecanica de Rocas.
