Richard Franks

Richard Franks, a taxation manager with Rio Algom, has died after a lengthy illness. He was 50.

Franks started as a junior tax clerk with Rio Algom after attending the University of Western Ontario. He ascended the ranks of the company’s accounting department and eventually became tax manager.

Franks is survived by his wife, Wendy, and two children, Kristen and William.
