Golden Rule Resources has traced a gold-bearing, quartz-barite breccia for a distance of 400 ft on its Toodoggone area property north of Smithers, B.C.
The company is involved in a 6,000-ft drill program with Manson Creek Resources, about half of which had been completed by mid- August. Visible gold has been reported in two holes which are still out for assay and these results are expected shortly, says Golden Rule President Glen Harper.
Results from four recently completed holes included: 12.5 ft of 0.083 oz gold, 22.5 ft of 0.26 oz, 12.5 ft grading 0.23 oz, 21.5 ft grading 0.52 oz and 7.5 ft averaging 0.15 oz. The zone has been traced by drilling to a vertical depth of about 200 ft and a backhoe is being used to trench a strong geochemical anomaly which extends over a strike length of several thousand feet.
Manson Creek has the option to earn a 50% interest in the Mets property by funding $675,000 in exploration. Golden Rule has an 81% beneficial interest in the project through its 50% direct interest in the claims and a 63% equity interest in Manson Creek.
