Vancouver — With the latest round of drilling confirming the gold mineralization previously cut in the Discovery zone, Red Emerald Resources (RED-V) is moving ahead with a scoping study on the Midway project in Nevada.
Hole 210 turned is the best results for the recently completed program, yielding 42 ft. grading 1.26 oz gold per ton from 112 ft. downhole. The junior used cut high-grade values to a maximum limit of 10 oz per ton. Uncut a 5-ft section returned 132.2 oz gold per ton from 144.5-ft downhole.
To the northwest, results were not as favourable at the 121 zone. The latest results include 90 ft. grading 0.1-oz gold from 490 ft. in hole 214. Hole 216 was collared 100-ft. southwest and failed to hit any significant mineralization.
Encouraged by the results, Red Emerald is proceeding with a new program consisting of additional drilling on both zones; a preliminary resource and scoping study.
