Rayrock fails to get permit

The Costa Rican government has turned down an environmental impact statement (EIS) from Minera Rayrock (MRN.A-T) regarding the Bellavista gold-silver project.

Minera Rayrock is now pursuing an appeal under Costa Rican EIS procedures.

According to a company statement, Minera Rayrock is now studying the decision and considering its options, which may include resubmitting the EIS, taking legal action “to preserve the company’s rights” or suspending the project.
