Raymor confirms lithium grade

Bulk-sampling by Raymor Resources‘ (RAR-A) at the La Motte lithium property has confirmed previous estimates of lithium grade.

The Centre de Recherches Minrales du Qubec analyzed a 50-tonne sample collected from a spodumene pegmatite on the property in November and found a 1.14% Li2O grade, up slightly from a previous estimate.

Provincially owned Soquem is preparing a $425,000 prefeasibility study, which will examine the possibility of developing a 30,000-tonne-per-year open-pit mine, as well as a flotation sequence for the recovery of byproduct mica, feldspar and quartz.

Raymor says a major U.S. ceramics manufacturer has already expressed interest in buying the spodumene production.
