Rates to be discussed at meeting

Discount rates used in mineral project evaluation will be the topic of discussion at the Feb. 22 meeting of the Mineral Economics Society of the Toronto branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum.

Lawrence Smith of Kilborn Engineering & Construction will be the featured speaker at the meeting, which will be held at 5 p.m. at the Board of Trade, First Canadian Place.
