Randsburg cuts titanium-vanadium at Titan

Drilling by Randsburg International Gold (RGZ-V) has intersected a 300-metre length of titanium and vanadium mineralization at the Titan property, 50 km north of North Bay, Ont.

The intersection averaged 10.4% titanium dioxide (TiO2) and 0.17% vanadium over the 300-metre length that was assayed. Included was an 82-metre section, starting at 206 metres down-hole, which graded 16.3% TiO2 and 0.26% vanadium.

A further 87 metres of core from this hole is out for analysis, as is core from four other holes.

Randsburg’s target is an anorthosite body where work in the 1940s and 1950s outlined 128 million tonnes grading 15.64% TiO2. The company is not relying on the historical figures, as they do not comply with National Instrument 43-101.
