Underground drilling is under way on the Atlanta gold property, 60 miles east of Boise, Idaho.
Consolidated Ramrod Gold (TSE) can earn a 51% interest from Atlanta Gold (TSE) by spending US$2.5 million on the first phase of exploration and a further US$7 million on the second phase, which will include a final feasibility study.
Seventeen holes have been drilled in a planned 12,000-ft. program, the purpose of which is to delineate the Atlanta orebody. This involves drilling a series of fan holes at 100-ft. spacings along a strike length of 1,200 ft. The eastern extension of the deposit is defined by two mineralized zones: the Main Atlanta Lode (which contains multiple veins within a 30-60-ft.-wide shear zone) and the 270 Split (a lateral vein which strikes into the Atlanta from the north).
