Rambo initiates drilling program

A 15,000-ft drilling program is in progress on the Coleraine property in Quebec’s Eastern Twps., near Thetford Mines, to test for chromium, platinum and gold, Rambo Explorations reports.

While no assay results are available yet, the first seven holes have indicated an ore zone 50 ft wide with a vertical depth of 660 ft, the company says.

Surface sampling of the property has returned values of 55% chromite, 0.05 oz platinum per ton and 0.1 oz for all other platinum group metals.
