Ralph Bailey receives AMC’s service award

Ralph Bailey, 65, has been named the recipient of the fourth Distinguished Service Award of the American Mining Congress (AMC). He served as chairman of AMC 1983-85 and remains an honorary member of its board of directors. Bailey, a mechanical engineering graduate of Purdue University, is currently chairman and chief executive officer of American Bailey Corp., a privately owned holding company, and of United Meridian Corp., a holding company engaged in making equity investments in the oil and gas industry. (If this is published after March 23, 1990, Bailey’s age should be changed to 66.)
