Rainy River returns mixed results

The latest assay results from core drilled on Nuinsco Resources’ (TSE) property in Richardson Twp., Ont., show long sections of highly anomalous gold, as well as short sections of high-grade gold.

The best high-grade assay from the property, situated near Rainy River, was 11.301 oz. per ton over a core length of 10 inches, while other intervals within several widely spaced drill holes showed: 1.61 oz. per ton over 0.66 ft.; 0.02 oz. per ton over 221.6 ft.; 0.031 oz. per ton over 41.3 ft.; and 0.022 oz. per ton over 326.4 ft.

Anomalous gold values have also been found in glacial tills at two new locations in outlying townships. The material is similar, in many respects, to mineralization discovered near Richardson Twp. Tills in the area have also yielded appreciable amounts of native

copper.
