Rainbow seeks pot of nickel

Assays are expected shortly from diamond drilling carried out by Rainbow Petroleum (RBP-A) at the Copper Prince property near Sudbury, Ont.

Core from the first five holes has been sent for assay, and the sixth hole of an expanded 15-hole program is in progress.

The 16-claim property is 2 km southeast of Falconbridge ‘s nickel mine and 2 km into the footwall below the lower contact of the Sudbury igneous complex.

The drill program is managed by director Joseph Church, a former director of Canadian field exploration for Inco.
