Queenstake plans Chupaca drilling

In June, diamond drilling will begin on the Chupaca property in Peru, according to Queenstake Resources (TSE).

Surface work by Queenstake Resources (TSE) has identified a gold anomaly measuring 700 by 300 metres, which is open to the north and east where it is covered by soils.

Surface sampling returned 0.5 gram gold per tonne over the area, which consists of andesitic volcanics cut by northwest-trending structures altered by clay, silica, iron oxides and pyrite.

Additional surface work is under way to define the full extent of the drill target.
