Queenstake drilling Dos Cabezas project

Three gold- bearing quartz-sulphide veins will be tested by 6,000 ft of underground drilling at Queenstake Resources’ (VSE) Dos Cabezas project in southeastern Arizona.

The main drilling target is below the 5A level and above the Water Tunnel level of the Gold Prince mine where proven and probable reserves are 47,138 tons at 0.336 oz gold per ton. Also to be tested is an area on the No 1 vein above the 4 level with probable and possible reserves of 27,614 tons at 0.33 oz. Preliminary flotation and cyanidation test work has been completed with a 75.1% gold recovery using a combination gravity-flotation-cyanidation circuit. Column leach cyanide testing is planned on near-surface oxide ores which may be amenable to open pit heap leaching.
