Queens’ geology student honored

Steven Olsen has been awarded the 1997 Money Medal for his master’s work in mineral exploration at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont.

The medal, struck from gold-plated Falconbridge nickel, is awarded ly to the top mineral exploration student at Queen’s in honor of Falconbridge employee David Money, a graduate of that program killed in a car accidentin 1993.

A $500 cheque accompanies the award.
