Drilling by International Pursuit (TSE) on its Hinoba-an copper project in the Philippines continues to expand the dimensions of the A1 anomaly and Don Jose deposit.
Results from six additional holes drilled to test the A1 have added to the strike length and width of the zone, with most intercepts assaying above 0.5% copper to a depth of 165 metres.
Hole A1-16 assayed 0.55% copper over 135 metres, while A1-18 averaged 0.54% copper over 156 metres. The lowest interval reported (0.43% copper over 30 metres) was cut by A1-17.
Results are also pending for two other holes drilled in the area. Hole A1-19, drilled 100 metres west of A1-18 and along the same fence line, was found to have visible copper mineralization along its entire 160-metre length. A1-20, designed to test an airborne geophysical anomaly, also features visible copper mineralization over its entire 75-metre length. Both holes continue to be drilled.
Elsewhere at Hinoba-an, hole NWX-4 was drilled to test for the possible northwestern extension of the Don Jose deposit. The hole cut two intercepts, the first of which averaged 0.56% copper over 30 metres, while the second averaged 0.59% copper over 27 metres. The deepest intersection ended at a depth of 171 metres below surface.
