Herman Becker-Fluegel and Michael Coulter, two officers of United Reef Petroleums (TSE), sold a large block of their holdings in the diamond explorer in September, according to the Ontario Securities Commission’s OSC Bulletin.
Becker-Fluegel and Coulter, president and secretary respectively, each exercised 180,000 options at 10 cents and each sold 136,000 shares at 39 cents to hold 44,000.
United Reef reached a high of 44 cents in active mid-September trading after announcing plans to launch a diamond exploration program in The Central African Republic. The stock has since dropped below 35 cents. Other transactions completed recently include:
BMR Gold (TSE) — Frank Varseveld, president, bought 100,000 at 58-75 cents and sold 121,500 at 55-60 cents to hold 1.07 million directly and indirectly. Borealis Exploration (ASE) — Rodney Cox, chairman and president, sold 14,055 privately for $2.50-3 to hold 167,934.
Breakwater Resources (TSE) — John McKinney, officer, bought one million privately for 20 cents to hold one million.
Glamis Gold (TSE) — Frederick Maycock, director, exercised options on 15,000 at $3.20 and sold 10,000 at $4.90 to hold 95,000.
Panthco Resources (CDN) — Kenneth McLay, president, director and holder of more than 10%, sold 50,000 at 20-25 cents, then bought 17,000 at 25-30 cents to hold 272,032.
Platinova Resources (TSE) — Grenville Thomas, director, sold 200,000 at 65-67 cents to hold 1.7 million.
Teck (TSE) — Harold Keevil, director, sold 9,000 class A shares for $21.50 to hold 10,000.
