A number of possible acquisitions in Jamaica are currently being reviewed by Prime Explorations, a division of Prime Equities International (VSE).
The review follows a visit to Jamaica to examine properties and review the state of mining activities in the country.
Several companies in the Prime Equities group are already active in Jamaica, including Golden Ring Resources (VSE) which was recently granted an option to acquire a copper-gold property in the Bellas Gate area.
More recently, Galico Resources (VSE) announced it had initiated a property acquisition program in Jamaica with an emphasis on copper-gold prospects.
