Premier opens MNDM building in Sudbury

Ontario Premier Bob Rae recently opened the new building in Sudbury that houses the head office of the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines and the Mining Health and Safety Branch of the Ministry of Labour. The $23-million, 7-story building is now home to 273 employees. Its presence “reaffirms the important role the ministry plays in the economic and social development of northern communities,” says Northern Development Minister Shelley Martel.
