The province of Sas-katchewan, through CIC Mining Corp., has sold 7.3 million special warrants of Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan (TSE) for proceeds of close to $137 million.
Priced at $18.75 each, the special warrants consist of one common share of Potash Corp. and one-half of a warrant to acquire additional shares of the company.
Each full warrant entitles the holder to purchase one Potash common share for $18.75 on or before Sept. 30, 1994. Potash shares recently traded at $18.63 within a 52-week range of $13.00-19.38.
