Positive results at Cross mine

Drilling and channel sampling are continuing at Hendricks Minerals’ (CDN) Cross gold-silver mine near Boulder, Colo.

Two undeground and four surface holes have been drilled to test the downdip extension of the stockwork zone.

Hole SW-12 intersected a 330-ft. section that averaged 0.058 oz. gold and 0.567 oz. silver per ton. This included a 10-ft. section that ran 0.244 oz. gold and 2.84 oz. silver, as well as a 47-ft. section that averaged 0.122 oz. gold and 2.29 oz. silver. All intersections are less than 520 ft. from surface.

Hole MP-5 hit a 157.8-ft. section that ran 0.064 oz. gold and 0.258 oz. silver, including a 42-ft. section that averaged 0.118 oz. gold and 0.617 oz. silver.

Hole MP-8, the deepest drilled to date, intersected stockwork mineralization 650 ft. below the deepest workings. A 106.6-ft. section averaged 0.062 oz. gold and 0.031 oz. silver. The zone remains open at depth and to the east. Underground channel sampling has been completed across 80- to 100-ft. exposures of the stockwork mineralization, adjacent to previously mined veins. The best channel sample result was 0.209 oz. gold and 3.65 oz. silver over 55 ft.
