Pogo focus of next CIM lunch

The discovery and characteristics of the Pogo gold deposit in Alaska will be discussed at the next meeting of the Toronto branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, to be held Nov. 18 at the Ontario Club.

Moira Smith, chief geologist for Teck Exploration, will discuss development of the high-grade deposit, situated 90 miles southeast of Fairbanks.
