Plata tests zone in Peru

Preliminary exploration by Plata-Peru Resources (PPU-A) has confirmed the presence of base metal mineralization near its Pachapaqui mine in Peru.

Work included ground geological mapping and sampling of a breccia zone measuring 60 metres by 50 metres. Results from chip sampling include 3.3 ft.

ranging in grade from 0.5% to 3.29% copper, 1.66% to 18.58% lead, 1.6% to 10.4% zinc and 0.4 oz. to 30 oz. silver per ton.

Further exploration is planned.
