Placer, Currie program

The mapping and drilling program will follow up encouraging results on a property near Laonil Lake. An exploration program completed last summer resulted in a discovery of widespread gold mineralization in a sedimentary rock unit. Found on the Pine Lake joint venture, the new find was made along trend of the East Boundary zone.

The East Boundary zone, on the Currie Rose joint venture claims, hosts gold mineralization in a gabbro intrusive and sediments. The sedimentary unit has been mapped along strike for more than 700 ft and averages 32 ft in width. Values of up to 0.65 oz gold per ton across 3 ft have been assayed along the zone.

On vein 10, also on the same property, drilling has returned an average grade of 0.3 oz gold across 6.5 ft. The vein is associated with a wide shear zone which strikes on to the adjacent Seabee property owned by Claude Resources.

Currie Rose has a 40% interest in the Currie Rose property carried to the completion of a feasibility study. On the Pine Lake property, the company will be placing its interest in Carina Mineral Resources (VSE).
