Exploration of the Dream property owned by International Curator Resources (VSE) will continue this summer with Placer U.S., a unit of Placer Dome (TSE), planning a $500,000 program. Placer is earning a 60% interest in the property by making exploration expenditures of $2 million by March 1992. To date, $500,000 of the earn-in has been expended.
The Dream property, near Juneau, Alaska, contains a package of volcanic and sedimentary rocks defined by mapping and sampling which contain massive sulphide and gold mineralization over a strike length of two miles.
Placer plans to conduct magnetometer and EM geophysical surveys over the mineralized trend in order to define drill targets, followed up by 4,000 ft. of diamond drilling.
The program is expected to start in early June.
