Pezim sells almost all of Corona Corp. interest

Vancouver promoter Murray Pezim’s connection with Corona Corp. (TSE) was weakened substantially when he sold almost all of his remaining stake in the Toronto- based gold producer recently.

According to the Ontario Securities Commission’s Insider Trading Bulletin, Pezim sold 14,300 Corona Class A shares for $8.12 to hold 33 through Zareba Investments.

He also sold 8,000 class B shares for $8.25-8.62 to hold 4,300 indirectly.

Pezim financed the original Hemlo gold discoveries through International Corona Resources, later amalgamated into what is now Corona Corp. Pezim, who remains an honorary chairman of Corona, is trying to strengthen his grip on another important gold find — the Eskay Creek project in British Columbia.
