Patrick Moore to address PDAC-CIM Luncheon

Noted environmentalist Patrick Moore will address the PDAC-CIM luncheon on Wednesday, March 7. A founding member and former president of Greenpeace, he has played a leading role in raising environmentalism to the forefront of concern in Canada and around the world. Moore reveals the myths and misinformation that distort environmental debates and poses provocative questions that demand carefully thought out answers — for example, should we eliminate carbon dioxide emissions if this virtually guarantees the end of civilization? He calls for issues to be discussed on the basis of accurate scientific data, a search for consensus and the creation of sustainable solutions, and is committed to collaboration as a means of finding solutions to environmental conflicts.
