Hoping to repeat the success of their neighbour, Band-Ore Resources (BAN-T) and Southern Africa Minerals (SAF-T) have each acquired a half-interest in a 89.5-sq.-km land package on the eastern side of Ungava Bay in northern Quebec.
The property lies 10 km south of a recent diamond discovery of Twin Gold (TWG-T) (T.N.M., Dec. 13/99) and covers similar structures. That company recently raised $2.2 million in a special warrants offering to fund ongoing exploration there.
The partners are carrying out structural studies of the region using satellite imagery. Costs are being shared with other companies holding ground nearby.
CSG Resources (CSG-V) has changed its name to Artgallerylive.com Management (ALV-V).
