Parquet gets funds for Quebec claims

Parquet Resources has received $621,428 from a limited partnersh ip in return for flow-through shares and receive up to $1.4 million more for exploration on two 100%-owned Quebec properties. Two drill rigs have started working on the company’s 2,000-acre gold property in Courville Twp. near Val d’Or and one rig has started on an 11-claim property in Duparquet Twp near Rouyn. Some 35,000 ft of drilling is slated for the Courville property, part of the work concentrating on known gold-bearing zones indicated in previous work. About 18,500 ft of drilling will be done on the Duparquet property to test several targets including a porphyry intrusive plug.
