Pacific Rim drilling Fantasma

Pacific Rim Mining (PFG-T) is drill-testing the Fantasma gold project in northwestern Argentina.

The 2,000-metre, reverse-circulation program will test three telluric-electromagnetic anomalies. The most southerly of these is coincident with a structure that hosts the Oculto gold deposit on the junior’s neighbouring 30%-owned Diabillos project. Oculto is reported to contain a resource of 91 million oz. silver and 595,000 oz. gold. The two other anomalies are within 1 km and 0.5 km of the first target.

Once the 5-hole program is complete, Pacific Rim will move the drill to Jujuy province and begin a 2,000-metre program on the San Francisco project. The junior has other projects in Argentina, as well as prospective properties in Peru.
