OSC to consider Comaplex issue at June hearing

Comaplex shares haven’t traded since Dec 1, 1987 when the OSC discovered that 75% of the company’s outstanding shares had been acquired by Schaffhauser Kantonalbank of Switzerland.

As reported (N.M., Apr 17/89) the OSC recently agreed to postpone an inquiry into the takeover until legal proceedings brought about by Comaplex against the bank are heard in the Ontario Supreme Court. At the June 23 hearing which is open to the public, commissioners will consider a part ial lifting of the cease trading order. The hearing will be held at 9.30 a.m. on the 18th floor of Toronto’s Cadillac Fairview building.
