OSC approves listing requirement

The Ontario Securities Commission approved a new Toronto Stock Exchange “listing requirement,” making it mandatory for companies to disclose their corporate governance system.

The requirement, the main recommendation from the TSE report on corporate governance titled Where were the directors, applies to all Canadian incorporated companies with a fiscal year ending on or after June 30, 1995.
