Two regional chapters of the Ontario Prospectors Association are planning mineral exploration symposiums in mid-April.

The 2002 Northeastern Ontario Minerals Symposium will run at the Timmins campus of Northern College, April 17-19. The event includes a day and a half of technical sessions, a workshop on geographic information systems, and a tour of Kinross Gold’s Hoyle Pond mine.
