The possible settlement of litigation related to the Goldboro gold property in Nova Scotia is being discussed by Onitap Resources (TSE) and Exploration Orex (ME), the companies jointly announced. Orex launched a lawsuit against Onitap during the summer seeking damages for alleged breach of trust, fiduciary duty and injurious falsehood. Onitap President Karl Naert called the charges “frivolous and wholly without merit.”
Prior to the lawsuit, Orex had a deal with Onitap allowing it to explore the property while earning a 100% interest in the project.
