ON THE MOVE University of Toronto

Mining Association of Canada Chairman Walter Curlook was recently awarded the prestigious McCharles Prize at the University of Toronto. Curlook is executive vice-president of Inco Ltd. The prize, a bronze medallion and a $5,000 honorarium, recognizes Canadians who invent or discover new and improved processes for the treatment of Canadian ores and minerals. He promptly donated the money to the U of T School of Engineering.
