ON THE MOVE Northgate Mines

Pascal Dessureault has been appointed president of Northgate Mines, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Northgate Exploration. He joined Northgate as general manager of the Chibougamau, Que., mining operation in October, 1983. Also, Ram Kanwar has been appointed general manager of Northgate Mines. He was hired as a grade control geologist at the Copper Rand mine in Chibougamau in 1968 and has been associated with Northgate for the past 19 years.
