Software system manufacturer Jonas & Erickson has appointed Robert Garbutt to the position of president and chief executive officer. Garbutt was recently senior vice-president at MAI Basic Four in the U.S. and was responsible for sales, customer service and industry marketing for North America. There are 11 J & A branches in the U.S.; eight in Canada.
Alan Ratcliffe is a new sales representative for Miller Technology of North Bay, Ont. He is a graduate of the Haileybury School of Mines.
Jean Lapointe has been appointed sales manager for Diamant Boart Craelius in North Bay, Ont.
