Underground drilling by Omni Resources (ORI-V) at the Goddell Shear project in the Mount Skukum area of southern Yukon intersected a significant interval of gold mineralization in an unexplored section of the property.
The recent holes were drilled 115 ft. east of previously drilled holes.
Hole 41 intersected 174 ft. averaging 0.2 oz. gold per ton, including a 48-ft. interval grading 0.59 oz.
Omni plans to chase the mineralization by extending the decline a further 350 ft. to the east to allow for additional drilling.
The latest results from two other holes include 43.3 ft. grading 0.12 oz.
(including 12.9 ft. of 0.23 oz.) in hole 39, and 37.3 ft. grading 0.12 oz.
(including 12 ft. of 0.29 oz.) in hole 40.
Omni can earn up to a 70% interest in the project from Arkona Resources (AKA-V) and a minority partner by initially spending $4 million on exploration over four years.
In turn, Trumpeter Yukon Gold (TYG-A) can earn half of Omni’s interest in several Mount Skukum properties by raising $7.5 million in financing for Omni’s projects.
