OBITUARY — Heinz Veerman

Heinz Veerman, a well-known prospector-geologist died Feb. 16, at his home in West Vancouver. He was 61.

Veerman was a principal of Veerman Botel, a Vancouver-based consulting firm. Prior to that, he worked for various companies including Noranda Exploration and West Coast Mining and Exploration Syndicate. He was also a project manager for United Siscoe-Camflo’s uranium project in Saskatchewan.
