Obituary E.J. (Ted) Wade

Wade, who worked at various times with Falconbridge Ltd., Lac Minerals and Rio Tinto Zinc, was 49 when he died.

Known for his diverse interests and inventive mind, Wade spent three years in the early 1970s as a supervisor of metallic minerals at the Ontario government’s policy section.

While he was a senior vice- president with Lac Minerals 1975- 1984, Wade was also heavily involved in the development of a fuel- saving combustion engine. The project was his consuming passion and Wade worked to raise money for its development.
