Obituary Andrew Robertson

Born Jan 12, 1902, Robertson studied mine engineering at McGill University and pursued his career 0509,0000 in Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia. He was instrumental in the discovery and development of the Endako molybdenum mine near Fraser Lake, B.C., which was brought into production by Placer Development, now Placer Dome.

A life member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, he was an officer and director of several public mining companies.

Robertson’s enthusiasm for the mining industry did not diminish with age and he was active until his death.
