OBITUARY Amax executive dies

C. Eric Ho, former senior vice- president for tungsten operations in the metals group at Amax Inc, has died, of a heart attack, at age 61.

Ho retired from Amax last January after a 29-year career with the company. Previous Amax assignments had included market research, market development, and sales in molybdenum, vanadium and uranium.

At the time of his death, he had been working as a consultant for China Trade and Tungsten Trade.
