OBITUARY (March 16, 1992)

Norman C. Croome, who has been active in the mining industry for 45 years, died recently. He was 71.

Born in Rainy River, Ont., Croome graduated in civil engineering and geological studies from the University of Manitoba. He was engaged in all phases of mineral exploration, mine development and mineral production in Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Peru and Bolivia.

For the past 10 years, he operated his own consulting firm, N.C. Croome & Associates.
